much as i love vassar and poughkeepsie, all of my folks here, my long weekend visits…i don’t know if i should come back. it’s not my place, and though i miss community, feeling like i’m surrounded by people who understand and care about me, holding onto it isn’t helping me go forward.
it’s so amazing in the moment, but i’m not this person anymore. it’s time to move on.
