A - who do you like and why? - everyone. i’m not gonna list people for obvious reasons, i should think. but, generally, i like queer people, people who have investigated what it means to have a gender, have thought about their attractions to others, why they like the things they do. i like radical intellectuals, queer theologians, and activists. i like kind people, open people, good listeners and communicators. i just like surrounding myself with people who challenge me to think bigger, love harder, and give more of myself.
X - how many relationships have you had? - you knew i was going to hate this question, didn’t you? the number is infinite - i have a relationship with everyone i’ve ever met, and it could be argued, with everyone i haven’t. but, ok, this question is looking for a specific answer and i understand it’s cultural meaning. i’m not so sure i could actually answer it about my present life, it’s waaay too complicated. but as far as traditional “relationships” go, i’ve had two.
4 - what do you notice first about another person? - how they treat other people, if they smile with their eyes, with what sort of care do they use language. if we’re talking right-off-the-bat physical, though, i’ve always had a thing for hands.
